Wild & Free

[Day 4]: The System for a Wild & Free Life

Welcome to Day 4 of Wild & Free Entrepreneurship Week, where I’m giving you the process for:

⚡️ Redesigning Your Life to be Wild & Free (Even If You’re Stuck in a Corporate Job or Income-Generating Commitments That Are Costing You Your Freedom). ⚡️

Up until now, we’ve talked about your idea and validating it by taking action.

Today, we’re moving on to cover how to take that action in a way that aligns with your desire for a wild & free life.

In my years of sending emails, posting (inconsistently) on social media, and taking time to head off grid, one thing is true — daily habits matter more than any other type of habit.

A daily writing habit will make it easier and faster for you to keep writing. Taking a few days break makes it MUCH harder to get back into the groove.

A daily posting habit makes it much easier to come up with ideas for future reels or posts. Taking a few days break makes that creativity come to a halt especially if you’re someone who likes keeping up with the latest trends.

This advice is probably not what you were expecting from someone who touts the freedom lifestyle. After all, if you’re having to show up every day, are you really free? Or are you beholden to the keyboard, rain, shine, school, travel, you name it?

Absolutely. And to paint a picture of why, let’s read a parable together.

For want of a nail, the shoe was lost.

For want of a shoe, the horse was lost.

For want of a horse, the rider was lost.

For want of a rider, the battle was lost.

For want of a battle, the kingdom was lost.

All for the want of a horseshoe nail.

This parable shows how small actions have a ripple effect for big outcomes.

Too often, the idea of freedom feels like a permission slip to do what you want, when you want to do it. But, if you keep putting off something because you’re just not feeling it one day, you’ll fall behind, and that fall from consistency can have a ripple effect.

Now this isn’t to say you can’t take a sick day (you can) or a vacation (you can). Instead, I bring this up because having a system in place where you flex a creative muscle and share your big lofty idea with the world EVERY 👏🏼 SINGLE 👏🏼 DAY will help you to feel increasingly confident in that idea (see Day 3 of this series). It’ll also help you to validate your idea with the people who you want to be a hero to (see Day 2 of this series). And it’ll help you to understand if that dream you outlined on Day 1 is what you really want or what you thought you wanted, but in reality your dreams are shifting (which is allowed).

Daily content creation habits aren’t just something big-time writers do. Successful people develop them to gain clarity, attention, and the dream life they crave.

The best part is that when you fall into this rhythm, showing up becomes easier, and it all actually becomes pretty dang FUN!

So, are you ready to flex 💪 that muscle and take some messy action 🕺?

This is the cost of entry for a wild & free life…

… and to be honest, it’s a cost I’d happily pay because what’s waiting on the other side of it is such a game changer.

I’ll talk more about what that looks like as I round out this series tomorrow.

P.S. I'd love it if you replied and let me know what you're itching for. Help with that bold action? Ideas for what to share? Support in setting up the backend of your business? Something else entirely? Let's chat!
