How I Find Calm in the Chaos of Homeschooling & Entrepreneurship

Anyone who’s ever juggled homeschooling with a soul-sucking 9-to-5 knows this:

It's like trying to sip coffee while emptying a load of laundry one-handed and talking on the phone.

There was a time not too long ago when I was drowning in client deliverables, pushing my limits on what I said yes to workwise, and had calendar without any margin. That was before I had kids. When I found out I was pregnant with my first child, I knew something had to change. I was constantly stressed, and the joy of someday homeschooling felt completely out of the picture.

I knew I couldn’t keep up the pace, and frankly, I didn't want to anymore. It all felt so exhausting and for what? Those extra dollars in the bank could come in without trading time for money every day.

So, I started saying NO to time-consuming projects, put up boundaries, and designed a business that actually worked with my homeschooling life, not against it.

The stakes are high when it comes to building a business that honors your commitment to a life-first business.

It’s right at this point that you can rebuild a life of freedom and flexibility, or…

end up burnt out, resentful, and reaching for Girl Scout Cookies at 10 AM. (Hey, no judgment here!)

My secret to choosing freedom and flexibility for our family? Content.

But not the type of content that has you dancing on TikTok or posting 3 reels a day to keep up with the algorithm (gross). The type of content that simply has you sharing everyday moments and turning them into digital products that will make you money while you make memories in your RV or in your kitchen with your kids.

If you’d rather see freedom and flexibility in your schedule instead of burnout and boredom on Zoom calls, I’ve got you covered.

I designed the Content Club to offer other entrepreneurs who aren't as excited about writing as I am to get the same content marketing support without hiring someone to do it for them or slogging through filling a blank screen each week.

AND BIG NEWS! I’m closing the doors for open enrollment to the Content Club on January 31!

I am so proud of the safe space I’ve created where you can lean on others for support, openly ask questions about your content AND design your business alongside your freedom-filled lifestyle, that I want to be more intentional about the collaborations formed inside. Once doors are closed, new elements that'll effortlessly up your content marketing game and grow your audience are getting added, such as peer masterminding, collaboration matchmaking, and more.

Plus, you’ll get:

  • Clarity on your messaging (because it’s your messaging that connects you with others when you’re connecting with your kids)
  • Strategies and templates to ditch the overwhelm and embrace actual content-creation calm (goodbye bursting calendar and never-ending phone calls!)
  • Sprints to encourage you to take action and build a business that truly aligns with your family’s values (no more learning without implementation)

And most importantly:

The courage to bet on yourself and create a life you freakin' love. (Because you deserve it!)

As the saying goes: The days are long, but the years are short!

Let’s get started so you can squeeze every fun minute out of those years without drowning in daily to-do tasks, client contracts, or a never ending list of desires that never see the light of day.

Hi, I'm Kimberly

(and I love supporting fellow freedom-seeking entrepreneurs.)

I'm a homeschooling mom, coffee-obsessed, outdoor-lover, bestselling author, copywriter, and content strategist. I started writing in 2012 and never stopped — even through the birth of my two boys. Over the years, I've learned how to manage the chaos of kids and a self-designed career. Today, we enjoy (somewhat) relaxed days in homeschool while I simultaneously run a business that lets us run wild. Now, I'm teaching others how to do the same through effective content and systems.

Here's to burning the rule book in exchange for being gutsy, bright, courageous, and even a little bit wild.
