Last year, we took our boys skiing for the first time. My husband grew up skiing, I did not, so sitting in that chair lift we had three nervous people worried about getting down the hill and one nervous person worried about how he’d safely get everyone he loved on that mountain down the hill.
We got off the lift without falling (A FEAT IN MY BOOK) and shuffled our way awkwardly to the start of the downhill.
I looked at my oldest and started trying to coach him as best my amateur brain could on how to start slowly down the hill. We were working the sexy little pizza move when I looked up and saw FRENCH FRIES!
My youngest sent it down the hill without any fear of falling, failure, or fracturing his collarbone…again. He was ready for some fun and figured that he’d figure it out as he went. My husband took off after him, scooped him between his legs, and brought him to a safe spot while my oldest and I inched downhill.
Unrelated (but not):
I have a few groups of friends that I talk to about business, and in each group I’ve noticed the same thing.
Everyone’s overthinking it, standing in pizza mode and trying to get momentum to get things rolling in their business and no one’s sending it, french fry style.
It seems like everyone is:
- Afraid to start their email list because what will they send?
- Afraid to post a reel online so they take hours piecing it together for perfection
- Afraid to start a blog, podcast, or vlog, even though they dream of having a massive online presence that influences others
Every time this conversation comes up, I do my best to get them to channel my youngest’s energy and JUST GO.
Even though I was a timid little pizza girl up on that ski hill, I’m the full on french fry style in business, ready to send things by underthinking instead of overthinking.
That’s because business is one giant experiment, and when you sit in your own head, anxiety, and worry about the what ifs, you’ll never get started.
Worse yet, you’ll never gather that momentum to make it down the hill toward your goal.
You’ll stand still, cold, embarrassed, and getting passed by everyone else who’s ready to make some big moves and stir up some powder.
If you’re ready to shake that pressure off your shoulders and send it down the hill instead, grab these templates and spend a few hours planning and COMMITTING to your content goals this weekend.
✍️ Fill in the content planner for your emails, long-from content, and social media presence all in one place (something I don’t see done…ever. THIS IS GOLD).
✍️ Fill in all the assets you have for your business and take a look at how far you’ve come plus the gaps that you can fill!
✍️ Fill in your customer relationship management form and get those projects organized so you can free up time and energy to focus on YOUR goals (not everyone else’s).
This Wild & Free Content System has saved me massive amounts of time and helped me make money by just sending it. And they’re 50% off through this weekend using the code SYSTEMLAUNCH.
Get my content system and get brave while saving yourself time. Sound like a good deal?
LET’S GO!

Hi, I'm Kimberly
(and I love supporting fellow freedom-seeking entrepreneurs.) I'm a homeschooling mom, coffee-obsessed, outdoor-lover, bestselling author, copywriter, and content strategist. I started writing in 2012 and never stopped — even through the birth of my two boys. Over the years, I've learned how to manage the chaos of kids and a self-designed career. Today, we enjoy (somewhat) relaxed days in homeschool while I simultaneously run a business that lets us run wild. I'm teaching others how to do the same through crazy-fun content and productivity-inspiring systems.
